Prestige Bollards Ltd warrants that every bollard supplied and installed by us is free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of installation, subject to the conditions set out below.
What Is Covered
- Cracks, fractures or structural failure of the bollard body that arise during normal use.
- Failure of the locking barrel or lifting mechanism not caused by force, tampering or neglect.
- Premature corrosion through the protective coating that is not caused by physical damage.
- Defects in our installation workmanship, including the foundation socket and concrete surround.
What Is Not Covered
- Damage caused by vehicle impact, vandalism, theft, attempted theft or third-party works.
- Cosmetic wear-and-tear including scuffs, scratches, paint chipping and weathering of finishes.
- Damage caused by failure to follow the supplied operating and maintenance instructions (for example, lifting a bollard without releasing the lock).
- Loss or damage to keys, replacement of which is chargeable.
- Modifications, repairs or installations carried out by anyone other than Prestige Bollards Ltd.
How to Make a Claim
- Contact us on +44 7904 344662 or via WhatsApp as soon as the issue is noticed.
- Provide your installation address, the approximate date of fitting and a photograph of the issue if possible.
- We will respond within 2 working days to arrange a free inspection.
Our Remedy
Where a valid warranty claim is upheld, we will at our discretion repair the affected component, replace it with a like-for-like product, or refund the price paid for that item, whichever we consider most appropriate. We will cover the cost of return visits and labour for valid claims.
Maintenance Requirements
To keep your warranty valid we ask that you:
- Operate the bollard in accordance with the instructions supplied at handover.
- Keep the lock barrel clean and lubricated with a graphite-based or PTFE lubricant at least once every 6 months.
- Clear leaves and grit from around the head before lowering the bollard.
Statutory Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and does not affect them.
